Mercy and Grace Ministries believes in adequate training and also assuring our volunteers are equipped to minister to the population of people we serve. We have a requirement that all volunteers go through the following process before serving in a prison or juvenile facility. Please start at step 1 and attend a M&G 101 class to learn all about what it takes to become a volunteer.

Start Here- Step 1

Attend our Mercy and Grace 101 class to learn all about Mercy and Grace and the opportunities to serve the incarcerated. We will talk about the whole process to become a volunteer and the next steps for getting activated in prison and juvenile ministry.

Step 2

Attend our Mercy and Grace 201 class. This class is for Preaching, Teaching & Testimony. You get to learn about ways to use your story to bless others. This class is not just for preachers and teachers. The class is for anyone who wants to better articulate their story for maximum teaching impact.

Step 3

Take the CORE 4 courses through our Certificate Program in Partnership with Western Seminary.  The Core 4 classes can be found on the certificate link below. These are online classes from Western Seminary. They are excellent classes to learn and grow in scripture. We will guide you and get you signed up to take these classes.

Step 4

During your training process, please fill out our application when you have nearly completed the requirements to serve. We will need this application filled out prior to you getting cleared at any prisons or juvenile facilities.

In Partnership with Western Seminary, Mercy and Grace offers two Certificate Programs for our volunteers or anyone who wants to dive deep into Seminary level classes.

Certificate in Ministry Foundations
